The Killer 1989

Jeffery (Chow Yun-Fat)is a hired killer who wants to go straight, but accidentally blinds a singer Jenny (Sally Yeh) during his last job. Feeling guilty, he wants to finance her eye operation, and decides to go back to being a hit man. Through an agent Sydney (Chu Kong), he picks up a contract to kill Tong Weng, head of a drug syndicate. The killing takes place during the Dragon Boat Festival, and arouses the attention of two cops, Lee (Danny Lee) and Randy (Kenneth Tsang). Lee discovers the relationship between Jeffrey and Jenny, and gradually senses that Jeffrey is not al that cold-blooded…
